At West Wilts Gymnastics & Fitness we are participant-centred and we aim to put the welfare of our customers at the heart of everything we do. Our Policies and Procedures are based on those of British Gymnastics, and we have added our own members’ views and ideas to produce the guidelines which form the centre of our Club.

We have Codes of Conduct for Gymnasts, Parents, Staff and Volunteers and we display these on our Welfare Board in Reception along with our Child Protection and Health & Safety information. Also on the Welfare Board are the contact details for our Welfare Officers, who should be the first point of contact for any concerns, as well as other agencies who are there to help you.

Please read our Members’ Handbook so that you understand how everything works at WWGF and how we can support you. New for 2020 is our Anti-Bullying Policy, which has been developed in conjunction with Rothwell Gymnastics Club and the British Gymnastics Safeguarding Team.

Our Head Coach, Sue Clark, is one of our Welfare Officers as well as a member of the BG Safeguarding Team. As such, we receive a lot of up-to-date Safeguarding information from various sources and would like to share some of this with our Members.
